Charts are feel-good music and are a damn great time. The band has been a staple in the Portland music scene for ten years with a discography that ranges from the lo-fi sounds of a Tascam four-track, the precision of hi-fi studio to the warm saturation of 2-inch tape. Like studio musicians covering The Supremes in the style of The Velvet Underground. Their sound has evolved over the years, but the love and jubilation for rock and roll has remained.
WAVE ACTION
Wave Action is a Portland punk rock and roll band comprised of twin brothers Darin and Clinton O'Brien. Having played music together since they were children, the two formed the band in 2015, now joined by Mitchell Gonzales on guitar. Their music possesses pop sensibilities with hints of new wave, post punk and surf rock.
