The founders of Good Cheer Records – Blake Hickman and Morgan Troper – met through the magic of radio in October 2013. In the summer of 2014, they decided to start a record label. Their aim is to put out records that carry the weight of artistic earnestness without affectation, irony, or mercenary ambitions.
